She had travled alone for so long now that sometimes she would forget what she was doing or where she was going. She was one of the few last remaining mustangs on the planet and she was indeed wild and free and like many mustangs a rouge that liked to roam alone most of the time.
At the moment she was getting a drink out of a lake in the middle of a vally away from the forest that had been her shelter. Now she was out in the open and a easy targer.
She was pitch black with a black mane and tail to match and her eyes at times seemed red to people.
She was still young it seemed and unknown to the human world.Which is how she liked it.
The weather was the begging of fall with the weather still warm as the leaves seemed to change colors ever onc ein awhile and fall to the ground.
The day was cool, but the sun was bright and blinding.
The horses name was Midnight.

As the sun shown bright and heavy in the sky, the ground seemed to be thankful that the summer was giving into fall and as a breeze pitched across the open range, all the male could thank about was resting. His feet hurt as he trudged along, slumping forward slightly for only a second before standing tall once again and looking around. Not feeling any closer, he sighed and took in his surroundings.
All he could tell was that he was at the top of a large valley that held a lake in the middle. The ridge he stood on gave a large view and he felt dizzy from the expanse before him. Feyfolk shouldn't do such long journeys. Sitting, all Kir could think about was getting home. He didn't belong out here. Running a hand through his shaggy blonde hair he rested his other arm on his leg and did a double take when he thought he saw a horse at the lake. It was a chance he was willing to take for either directions or just some company.
Standing, Kir's body started to shine in a light blue light. His muscles twisted and as he stretched and contorted to compensate, he started to take a new form. Straighening, Kir stood tall in his horse form. With the appearence of a shire horse, the straw colored beast started to trot down the side of the valley, the long oat-grey fur around his hooves bouncing as he did so.
Hoping the horse hadn't run off, he started to slow as he weaved past trees to get to the lake, thinking now a drink would be enough for him if the horse wasn't still there.

(Well that surely is a new one...I like it hehe)
Midnight had contuined to get a drink of the water from the lake letting it refresh her unawarethat someone had seen her and was coming towards her. That was till her ears had twitched to the movement of hooves on the ground and she had rose her head suddenly and looked towards the shire horse that was coming towards the lake.

Don't screw this up That was all that was running through Kir's brain as he shortened the distance between him and the mare. Stopping with about twenty feet between them, he bowed his head low and then came to the wonder of what language the horses in this realm spoke. Hoping his glamour would still work in this form, he rose his head and masked his human-form voice in what he presumed the horse spoke. But what do you say to a horse... This was a new one on him.
"I'm sorry to bother you," He started, bowing his head politely but he couldn't resist stepping to the side, keeping a secure distance between them, not wanting to scare her. Having a quick drink, Kir wondered how his presence would be taken.

As he drank, Kir suddenly discovered just how thirsty he was and gulped the cool water down quickly. Lifting his head up, he sighed contently and felt loads better; his feet still ached and his back was beginning to as well, but he remembered that he was in the company of another. Looking towards the mare, he dug from his brain that mustangs weren't around anymore in his homeland, and internally knew that taking her with him would bring great respect -- something he needed after all the other times he screwed up. "Are you from around here?" His voice was silky sweet and he did his best to seem as approachable and obviously horse-like as possible, even flicking his mane slightly. Swishing his tail, he hoped she was, even if for the simple reason she might know a safe place to sleep.

Midnight rose her head from the water as it dripped from her mouth slightly she shook her head at him slightly.
"No I am not from here.I don't normally stay in the same place for to long I usually stay in one place for about a week or more then move on"She added if you took a closer llok at her you could tell she had been through a tough time by all the scars on her back side from moutnian lion attacks and some encounters with humans.

With a slight nod, Kir understood. While he had to eventually go home, it was only through loyalty, not because he gained something through being there. "Any idea where you're heading then?" His question was asked as he laid down, his haunches up as he relaxed. It possibly was a sign that he was comfortable around her, but it was really because of how much he ached.

Closing his eyes for a brief second, Kir inhaled deeply before sighing, "Unfortunately, that statement is more correct than I'd like to admit." His voice was low, more speaking to himself as his eyes opened again and he flicked his mane. "Even where I'm from has been mussed by outside forces, but thankfully it seems to be holding out better then here," The journey here had been filled with bare openings and dead trees -- two things no fairy wanted to see.

She turned her head slightly and looked at him with her ears pinned back slightly"Really?"She asked him curiously."Well where is it you come from that deals with things better then here?"She asked.
