Drip....drip....drip....The sound was faint and lost to the silence of the forest. Drip....drip....drip...Not even the animals came near such a free meal. No they knew what had taken place. The screams that had not long before flooded the air and carried on the wind. No they would stay away.
There wasn't just the dripping though, it was a shallow breath that would be pulled in and out. It was weak, it was barely noticeable. It was from a body, a young female who's body had been sliced and tortured. Her clothes were still in place to hide the feminine areas as that was not the desire of those who had created the harm. No they were after information. They had gotten all they wanted.
Her right knee had been sliced open, tendons dangling freely now. Each wound worse than the next. She should have bled out by now, should be dead long ago but she wasn't. It was a strange way to be, on the verge of death but yet it danced away from her, not allowing her peace from this horrible pain. Her hands had become numb from holding the weight of her body. It had only been two hours since she had stopped screaming but yet she was still there, still breathing.

A black light would shine before her, glistening against the crimson liquid among the ground. When it faded, a male pale as the moon stood in front of her. All he wore were black slacks. His torso muscular but very thin. His hair was black as night and slightly spiked, his nose kind of to a point, eyes an ice cold blue, sort of glowing, his lips a slightly different shade from his skin and his teeth pointed and razor sharp. The biggest and most noticeable thing about him was not the fact that he basically glowed in the soft moonlight, no. It was his big black raven wings that were sprouting from his back. He unfolded them to give them a stretch, his wing span about 10 feet. When he folded his wings back, he looked at the body in front of him.
"Oh child of Eve...." His voice chimed through her head giving her a calming sensation, and taking the numbness away, but the pain did not exist. Stepping toward her, his feet bare and slightly squishing in the grass because it was still soaked. He kneeled in front of her, using his hand at the bottom of her chin to raise her gaze to meet his, his hand softer than a child's skin. He knew she could see him. "It's not time yet...." He spread his wings and surrounded them, letting her gaze and head drop. Laying his hands on her heart, one hand over the other, he pressed her against the tree. He closed his eyes and muttered words under his breath. Slowly her body turned into nothing but a solid white light, not one feature noticeable. When her color and features came back, her clothes were still torn but not one scratch or scar could be found. Folding his wings behind him again, he put his wrist to his mouth and bit, then placing it softly against her mouth, he tilted her head back so she could drink. It had a nice sweetened taste to it so it went down easy.
When her blood was fully restored, he stood in front of her again, "I'll be watching." With that, he was gone the same way he appeared. But that feeling of alone she had was no longer there. Somebody was with her, in spirit.

The pain had been eased, that sensation of death, it was gone. Was it truly? As her head was moved so her eyes could fall upon the being that belong to the voice that had spoken in her mind. It amazed her for sure to see what she did. A dark angel...was it true? Maybe she could die now? That thought did flutter through her mind a second but only a second as he soon pressed her against the tree and began a process that would save her life.
The pain was gone, the wounds disappearing. As the light faded and his blood soon entered her mouth. She savored it a it flowed pass her lips and down her throat. She swallowed it without hesitation before that beautiful dark angel took the source away. She stares up at him in wonder and watched as he disappeared from her sight.
She looks around a little, slowly gathering up her surrounding and wondering. Carefully she moved to her feet and looked to her body. No wounds, no pain. She looks around licking her lips a little before she takes a few steps forward and slowly relaxes when she felt no discomfort. She bites her lip slightly then to the sky above. A smile touching her lips and she holds her arms out and spins around with a soft giggle leaving her lips, a sound of joy following.
After a moment of this out burst of joy, she stops and looks around. Those men, the ones that had dragged her out here for the information. She narrows her eyes and thought carefully of where they had gone.

She could here foot steps coming toward her at a running pace, when he busy through the trees she realized it was just Rafial. "You're alive!" He ran over and hugged her tightly, she could feel the worry in his grip. "We're do glad you're ok, we...." by that point, he had taken a step back and looked at her. "What...... happened to you....." The shock on his face looking at her clothes, he couldn't believe what he was seeing. He shook his head and grabbed her arm, "you can explain later, we have to get to the council." They for what seemed minutes, coming to a cave wall, then they ran down the side looking for the rock. When they found it, the hooked a left back into the forest, then to a large tree. Nothing the times on it, the bark seemed to pop out like a door, he opened it to reveal the stairs and Rafial followed her in. Closing the make shift door behind them, they walked down the stairs to the open hole in the ground. The council stood talking in their black robes, when they saw her, she got the sane reaction from them as she had gotten from Rafial. "What happened to you child.....?"

She blinks a bit as she stares at the male that had reached her. She was glad to see a familiar face though and returned that tight hug. He was right she would tell him later.
Later seemed to come so fast though as they had finally reached the council's location and they had asked the same as Rafial. She shakes her head slightly biting her lip. Hesitating to tell the tale of how she had come to have such torn clothes and suddenly ben in such a healthy state again.
She started the tale carefully and told them of the men that had dragged her to the depths of the forest and tortured her. They had done all they could to gain information and then about the dark angel that had saved her. She wondered if they would believe her.

The council listened intently, when she was done they all looked at each other. "He had black wings?" Another shouted, "then he wasn't a servant of God!" Rafial kept his mouth shut and just listened. "Child, we believe you," the leader started, "but it seems that you have been healed by the fallen angel Lucifer. Which means we can no longer protect you. We must now cleanse this sanctuary, now that you have tainted it's very existence. Rafial, escort Lia(attempting at name) out and make sure she makes it safe to the village, then you are to return." They turned and the leader started to sing as the one at the end of the line lit the incense to start the cleanse.

Lia stares at the council with wide eyes. "But..." She looks to Rafial for help but she knew there was no arguing with the council. She nods weakly at their words and kept the tears that filled her eyes from falling. They judged without thinking about the fact that the male with the black wings had saved her. He had healed her when no one else had come for her. She trembles a little and let Rafial lead her out of the place back towards the village. She was too grateful to be living now to question it so greatly but part of her was wondering, what if it had been Lucifer but if that was the case, why? He had not asked for a deal, had not made her bargain with him to save her life.

Rafial hung his head. The walk back was hard on him but about half way back he looked at her not sure of what to say other than one question, "do you think it was Lucifer?" He couldn't manage to even look at her he was so fearful of being yelled at, he knew her temper.

She clenches her hands a bit then shakes her head at him. " You believe what you want. I dont feel it was but what do I know. " she grumbles and keeps walking. Her body tense and her eyes set ahead of her.

Rafael grabbed her arm in frustration. "I am not the council, so don't compare me to them. Who do, or better yet, what do you think he was?" His eyes pleading her to talk to him.

She tenses up sharply from the contact before looking into his eyes. Her own flickered slightly. " I dont know exactly. All I know is he saved my life when he didn't have to. He gave me a chance again and I dont care what he was. I owe him so much." She shakes her head slightly and pulled her arm out of his grip. "He did not ask for a deal, only that he would be watching. " she looks at the male again. "And right now I want to go after the ones that had put me in that state to need saving. "

He was hurt by her statements and stupidity. "Lia, are you that stupid?!?!? Why? So you can be put in the state of being saved? You know what, if you wanna go get yourself slaughtered then be my guest. Maybe you'll see your angle or whatever." Turning around on his heel, and leaving her to walk to her death, "when he said he was watching you, I don't think he meant to watch you kilk yourself! Just sayin." And with that he was out of site. Leaving his words to swim around her.

She flinches at his words as they stung greatly. She watches him disappear from her sight and even remained standing there for a few minutes longer. What should she really do? She was given this chance but why did that angel even bother with her. It made her uncertain. With a heavy sigh she tore her gaze from where she had last seen her friend and started to walk.
Instead of going the way she had planned, she actually listened to him. She made her way towards the village but she was cautious as every movement and sound made her jump. She was on edge now that she was alone out there. Biting her lip a little as she makes her way towards the small homes and the one in particular that was hers. The one she had been pulled from not but just a few hours ago.

When she arrived home, there was a beautiful black Shadowfax outside. The saddle of this steed was also jet black. His hooves were drenched in a reddish liquid, his eyes were a dark red and his mane and tail amazingly silky. Through the window, she could see a man sitting in a chair among the messy house. He wore a black cloak, just like the council. Only difference was he wore no sign of a cross, nor did he look like them. He had shreds of black cloth draped over his cloak, his hands covered in metal armor. His skin on his face was all that down. It was pale and all she could make out under the hood other than pale skin was piercing blue eyes, just like the angels. He made eye contact with her, there was no running now. He stood from the chair, at least an easy seven feet. His belt was a layered metal and his sword a tarnished silver, like the rest, and the sheath was black leather with a silver tip. The hilt was the same black leather and in the shape of a very basic Celtic cross. The hand guards on either side being the middle. He waited for her to enter, and was very patient.

She froze at the sight of the creature outside her home. Unease already curling up in the pit of her stomach as she stares at the creature. Her eyes then turn towards the window where she saw the form that waited there. That unease was only growing more. There was a slight ease when she saw that it could possibly be the man that had saved her.
Yet she was not completely sure on the reason of the visit now. With careful steps, she moved to the front door. Her hand opening it as she found herself now staring up at the male who was clearly much taller than herself. She remained silent as she wasn't even sure about what to say to him.

The male looked down at her, "Lia, I have been sent by Amos. Your assigned guardian. Only select few royals get assigned one. I was sent to retrieve you. If you would be so kind as to follow me to my horse so we can be on our way. Unless you of course do not wish it. We are about free will, and if you're not ready, then we shall return at a later rise of the sun."

She blinks a bit as she found herself staring up at this male still. He said a few things that made her curious even more but also confused her. She hesitates a bit to even respond. After that silent moment, she glances around at her rather disheveled home. Would those men return here? She wasn't so sure of an answer. Her eyes turn back to the male and she nods slightly to him. "I'll go with you..." She says to him.

The male nodded and walked past her out the door getting on his horse. Helping her up on the giant beast, he kicked off as she got situated. They road for hours into the night until coming into the forest of the lost. They rode for about another thirty minutes, the horse came to a stop. He helped her down, then dismounted himself and they walked to a stairway made if branches woven together to make side rails and the steps were logs. They stepped up the stairs to two giant wooden doors made of what looked like stained oak. Turning to her, "do you have any questions before entering my dear?"

The girl followed the male out of her home, glancing back at it for a second before she looks to the man again. When he set her upon the horse, she held on as they began the trip to where ever it was he was taking her.
Her body tensing as they reach the forest and she bites her lip slightly and looks around them. She wondered why they would come to this place but her answer came soon when they stopped and she saw what looked like stairs and a door.
Carefully she followed him up the stairs and when they stopped at the top, she stared up at him. She bites her lip a little and shakes her head slightly. "I...can't really think of anything to ask...I just don't want to be disrespectful to anyone is all..." She says as she glances at the door nervously.

the male nodded, his facial features still not so clear, almost like he didn't have any. Opening the door like it was nothing, they would step into the main chamber of this hidden fortress. The pillars holding up the roof were of course giant tree's, and the roof of course were the leaves. Straight ahead were another set of doors like the first, except a little smaller. There were guards placed in front of them, one on either side dressed just like the man that brought her here. The only difference was they had helmets almost in the shape of god like demons, each of them also having a sword just like his on their belts and a spear in there hand. When she walked in she could see the male that saved her leaning on one of the trunks about thirty feet in front of the door. His wings were folded behind his back and arms crossed with a crooked smile on his face as his piercing blue eyes watched her enter, almost as if he'd been waiting for her to arrive.
